The Welsh Refugee Council provides a range of services to asylum seekers and refugees in Wales, helping them to rebuild their lives in Wales. To increase their service provision they are recruiting the above post:
The post holder will direct advice and assistance to Welsh Refugee Council clients and, as appropriate, to advocate on their behalf, as part of the Advice and Support Team: this may include NAM, NASS and Move-on related advice. The criteria for this post includes 12 months experience advising vulnerable groups.

Playright - Senior Playworker

Play Right are looking for an inspirational person to run their exciting and challenging Adventure Play Project in Penlan.
Working with children and young people aged 5-15 years old, in a free and creative 'open access' environment that supports their development through play.
Applicants must have experience of working with children and young people from disadvantaged areas and have good communication skills to engage with parents and community members to deliver a service to meet local play needs.
Applicants must have, be willing to or be working towards a playwork qualification.
You will need to be able to create an environment where children and young people are able to experience a range of 'Play Types' from face painting and dressing up to using hand tools to building dens, tree houses, rope swings and play structures.
You will be required to work in outdoor play spaces engaging and playing with the elements of wind, rain, fire and earth.
Play Sessions run during school holidays and after school during term time.
All applicants will be subject to an enhanced criminal records check.
