South Wales Police Authority 'Community Safety Volunteer Awards 2010'

The South Wales Police Authority Community Safety Volunteer awards are for those who voluntarily help to keep our streets and communities safe.

The categories are:

  • Volunteer - Outstanding volunteer work carried out by an individual in relation to community safety in each council area of South Wales. (One winner per local authority area)

  • Young Volunteer - Outstanding volunteer work carried out in relation to community safety by a young person (Aged 21 or under on 26 July 2010)

  • Volunteer Team - Outstanding work carried out by a team of volunteers in relation to community safety. A 'team' consists of two or more people

  • Volunteer Initiative - Outstanding initiative, or piece of work, carried out by volunteers which has had a positive effect on community safety

The closing date for nominations is Friday 23rd July 2010.
