BulliesOut
BulliesOut was established in May 2006 to provide help, support and information to individuals, schools, youth and community settings affected by bullying. Their projects are regularly requested by schools and youth organisations across Wales and in the three years since they began, the Charity has grown immensely and continues to do so at a rapid rate.
They are looking for members to join their Trustee Board and help guide them at the very important stage. This is an exciting opportunity to become actively involved in strengthening and supporting those affected by bullying. The roles are challenging, voluntary roles that require leadership skills. They are looking for committed, dedicated, people who live in Wales and who are able to travel to Cardiff for their meetings. In particular, they are seeking people with experience in marketing, fundraising / funding and HR services.
As a member of their Trustee Board, you will need to have an understanding of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of Trusteeship. You will have strategic vision, a commitment to the organisation and good independent judgement.
Your commitment to them will include attending board meetings, which at present are held monthly, plus other committee meetings and events and helping their charity achieve its ambitious goals. Their commitment to you will be to stimulate and engage you, and give you the satisfaction of overseeing a charity that helps and supports those affected by bullying. Naturally, they'll pay your expenses too.
For more information, and an application pack, please contact 029 2056 8947 or email: mail@bulliesout.com
All Trustees must undergo a CRB disclosure check and complete a financial declaration.
