SWANSEA COUNCIL FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE
is seeking to appoint a full time
Community Economic Development Project Officer
To be responsible for:
providing one to one and collective support (via workshops and networking) both to individuals who are developing organisations and to new and existing organisations. This will cover issues around organisational development and governance as well as volunteer development and support. Allied to this will be support to help organisations develop business plans, develop the skills and attitudes to enter procurement processes and to identify income generation opportunities, reducing the dependency on grants.
Salary: Appointment will be made on a fixed point on SCP 28-31
(£23,708 - £26,276) depending on experience
The project is funded until September 2014. Appointment offered on an annually renewable contract
