Secondment Opportunity
Title: Regional Learning Partnership South West Wales Coordinator (secondment)
Responsible to: Regional Coordinator South West Wales, Welsh Local Government Association on a day to day basis, with regular reporting to the Chairs and Vice Chairs of RLP Strategy and Steering Groups
Salary range: Circa £50k, based in Llanelli
Contractual terms: Fixed term secondment opportunity (1 December 2009 – 31 May 2010)
Job Requirement: To manage the delivery of the Regional Learning Partnership South West Wales (RLPSWW) and specifically to oversee the establishment of the Regional Learning Partnership South West Wales resource team. The RLPSWW resource team will consist of two elements of: the RLPSWW delivery team of two staff and the Regional Learning and Skills Observatory delivery team three staff). The RLPSWW Coordinator will support the setting up of the necessary arrangements in advance of Convergence funding being confirmed. The RLPSWW Coordinator will have responsibility for taking forward the Strategic Outline Programme as submitted to the Welsh Assembly Government under the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills' Transformation programme.
