Swansea Council for Voluntary Service is seeking to appoint a full time

Development Officer - Volunteer and Work Placements Schemes

Salary: SCP 26-31 - £21,937 to £25,940 per annum (starting salary point subject to experience)

Hours: 35 Hours per week

To be responsible for:

1. Delivering a high quality advice and guidance service to members of the public in line with the 'Volunteer Centre Infrastructure Agreement'

2. To support community members to gain 'work related experience' and develop quality work placements in 3^rd Sector organisations, which will assist them gain employability skills and experience

3. Promote and support best practice and quality standards in relation to volunteer involving organisations

4. To develop, implement and maintain quality, monitoring and evaluation systems to meet the demands of funders, regulators and best practice standards
