Swansea has been successful in being allocated funding from the Welsh Assembly Government's 'Community Cohesion Fund' for the implementation of and in support of the overall aims and objectives of “Getting On Together – A Community Cohesion Strategy for Wales”

Organisations are invited to submit a proposal applying for a proportion of the monies available. Please note that this funding is only available for 2010/11 and therefore will need to be spent by 31st March 2011.
An application form and guidance notes in relation to this fund are available to download below. Please ensure that your proposal is aligned with the WAG criteria and that your proposal evidences that your project will improve and strengthen Community Cohesion in Swansea.
Please pay particular attention to:
- Demonstrating how the project will improve Community Cohesion;
- Partnership working;
- Clear and measureable outcomes and
- Long term Sustainability.
A limit of £5000 per application has been set, however projects with higher value may be considered, where project demonstrates a high level of achievement towards the aims.
Completed applications must be received by 5pm, 19th July 2010.
