The Rural Development Plan is part of a new European Union programme to promote the economic regeneration of rural areas. The Rural Wards in Swansea that can benefit from the plan are: Bishopston, Fairwood, Gower, Penclawdd, Pennard, Llangyfelach, Mawr, and Pontarddulais.

Swansea Rural Local Development Strategy

The Swansea Rural Local Development Strategy has been developed by the Swansea Rural Development Partnership to set out a vision for implementation of the Rural Development Plan in the rural areas of City & County of Swansea.

Swansea Rural Development Partnership

The Swansea Rural Development Partnership is based on the 'quarters' principle, and includes key stakeholders from public, private, voluntary and community sectors of the 8 rural areas of City & County of Swansea.

Rural Swansea Action

Rural Swansea Action is a membership organisation established to facilitate and deliver partnership projects.
