and Swansea Self-Harm Initiative (SWSHI) - Mind's Self Help Support Group

In Spring 2007 MIND, nominated by the Forum to bid for funding for a facilitated self-harm project, had approval from the Tudor Trust.

SWSHI (Swansea Self Harm Initiative) is a new project which has been operating since September 2007. The main objective is to set up self help support groups in the Swansea area. The project is initially for people who self harm.

A 'Drop-in' for people over 18 years of age who self harm, takes place every Wednesday between 10.00 - 12.00 noon at the Swansea Mind Centre, above the Mind Shop on St Helen's Road, Swansea.

A further 'Drop-in' will be held on the first Thursday of each month, starting July 3rd - 10.00 - 12.00 noon, in the Cyrenians Community Centre, St Matthew's Church, High Street, Swansea.
