Children and Young People Third Sector Bulletin
The Children and Young People Third Sector Bulletin features contributions from organisations working in the 0-25 age range all over Swansea.
If you would like to make a contribution you are very welcome. Either email your article to sarah_bower@scvs.org.uk or request our interview service where you don't have to write a thing but have complete control over how you are presented.
The latest Bulletin can be found in the 'resources' column on the right hand side. This edition, the first in its new format, contains a considerable amount of information. We do not anticipate that future issues will be as lengthy. They will contain updates on the key topics in this issue plus recent news items and information from Third Sector groups.

Communities First and Child Poverty
The Welsh Assembly Government Communities First Programme is committed to tackling Child Poverty and has recently added Child Poverty as an integral strand of the Communities First Vision Framework. Guidance for Communities First Partnerships in relation to Child Poverty are available in 'resources' to the right hand side of this page.
Participation: Involving young people
The Assembly Government is committed to driving forward implementation across Wales of the principles of Article 12 of the UN Convention on thef Rights of the Child by taking steps to ensure that all children and young people aged 0-25 have opportunites to contribute to and have their voices heard in decision making on issues which impact on their lives.
The draft guidance from WAG on the local Participation Strategy for 0-25 year olds is available as a Word document in 'Resources', to the right of the page.
