Learners have achieved qualifications from two different routes:
The NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Community Development Work is a nationally recognised qualification that confirms the knowledge and skills needed by CD Workers to function effectively in their role.
The NVQ Level 3 in Community Development Work is also a nationally recognised qualification, but it is competence-based and confirms that the successful candidate has been assessed in the work-place, against National Occupational Standards.
- Caroline Berney – has achieved the full Level 3 NOCN Certificate in Community Development Work
- Anne Davies – has achieved the full Level 3 NVQ in CDW
- Lee Hawthorne – has achieved units of his Level 3 Certificate in CDW
- Adoniah Nyambi – has achieved units of both the Level 2 NVQ and Level 3 NOCN qualifications
- Glenis Pike – has achieved the full Level 3 NVQ in CDW
SCVS have a further 6 learners who have achieved qualifications through these routes, but who couldn't attend this presentation.
There is a shortage of qualified CDW's in Wales, so these learners are amongst an elite minority!
Congratulations to all!
