SWVFSouth Wales Volunteering Forum

March 4th 2003 saw the successful relaunch of the South Wales Volunteering Forum, led by members of voluntary organisations and CVC's, covering South Wales from Swansea to Monmouth.

Unlike local City or County based Forums, the wider geographical scope of the SWV Forum gives people a chance to see the 'wider picture' surrounding volunteering practice in South Wales, and to benefit from the networking, information sharing, training opportunities and peer support that the Forum can provide.

The meetings take the form of Training sessions on topics that are of use to volunteer managers, but which cannot usually be accessed through the usual avenues for training in the sector.

Previously meetings have covered:swvf simon weston
