    SCVS Engagement Gateway Project

    Engagement Gateway Projects are funded by the European Union. They aim to improve skills and confidence in order to help people into work and training. SCVS (Swansea Council For Voluntary Service) recognises training and volunteering to help build up work skills.

    Who is eligible?

    Economically inactive or unemployed people aged over 16 who live in City and County of Swansea, including : Young people not in education, employment or training; lone parents; older people and people with work limiting health conditions.

    Benefits of being involved:

    Support and regular contact / training (which would include gaining accreditation or qualifications) / advice and guidance / putting you in touch with other useful services / improved skills and confidence / opportunity to try new things including volunteering (out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed)
