Swansea Volunteering Forum is an unbiased not-for-profit group, with the aim of providing informal peer support and networking opportunities to volunteer managers in Swansea (Please note, whilst the Forum is facilitated by SCVS, it is independent and lead wholly by its members).

If you work with volunteers you are eligible to join the Forum, which takes the form of informal meetings every 2 months, where members meet to access the excellent networking opportunities and potential for partnership projects; as well as receiving peer support, sharing in good practice and also to have the chance to express their views and ensure that they are passed on to regulating bodies (E.G, WCVA, The Welsh Assembly)

It's a great way of staying in touch with the wider voluntary sector in Swansea, and ensuring that you are up to date with any new developments in the field.

The Forum belongs to its members as representatives of their voluntary organisations, and it's only through the support of the voluntary sector that the Forum can be representative of the issues affecting us.

Membership of the Forum is only £10 per annum per group, which is used to cover any expenses that may be incurred (E.G, speakers costs, etc…). Only registered Forum members will receive the minutes of the meetings, be eligible for Forum partnership projects, and have a voice in the direction that the Forum will take in the future.
