This is an introductory course for those who wish to learn about budgeting and financial management within a third sector organisation.

This is an interactive course which will give participants the opportunity to work through practical examples and ask questions relating to implementation within their own organisation.

The course is written at a basic level and intended for those who have little or no experience of bookkeeping within an organisation, it is also suitable for those who wish to review their systems and refresh their knowledge of good practice in relation to record keeping.

Course Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how you can use budgets to support funding requests
  • Be able to understand, plan and develop a cash flow forecast
  • Understand what management accounts are and why they are useful

Course Fees:

  • SCVS Members - Full Day Course - £20
  • Non SCVS Members / Individuals - Full Day Course - £150
