Dementia Aware Plus TTT is a training session aimed at raising awareness and providing practical strategies for supporting individuals with dementia.

Cost: Free of charge

Trainers: Polly Gordon & Daisy McGlashan - SCVS

The session will cover topics such as communication techniques, understanding behaviours, and creating dementia-friendly environments.

This course is for people working with or supporting people living with dementia, it is also suitable for anyone with an interest in dementia.

Learning Objectives:

Have a basic understanding of dementia and how it can affect people.
Begin to develop positive approaches and strategies for supporting people living with dementia.
Have a basic understanding of support services for people living with dementia and their carers.

Please note that this course is free of charge but if you fail to attend or you provide less than 2 weeks' cancellation notice you will be charged a £20 fee. If you find that you are unable to attend, we do allow and encourage you to find someone to take your place on the course.

Involve has a variety of schemes that engage people in need in Swansea.
