The current funding climate requires third sector organisations to be vigilant and prepared in order to sustain themselves financially. Economic changes over the last five years have resulted in a more highly competitive grants market meaning bids must be well developed and executed, however big or small. This practical course takes a holistic approach to grant funding based on key principles, whilst allowing you to practise and assess your skills with peers. There are also options for having your learning accredited with Agored Cymru– get in touch to find out more.

Just to let you know some success from recent funding application - Thanks to the training offered by yourselves, (Our Group) has been awarded a grant for £5,000 for summer activities from Big Lottery, Awards for All.

  • Understand the current funding climate in Wales and its impact on funders
  • Review your current approach of developing a bid
  • Apply new tools and techniques to give their bids a winning ‘edge’
  • Understand and meet the expectations of funders
