Swansea Bay University Health Board currently spends approximately £2.8 million through Service Level Agreements with Third Sector organisations to deliver a range of services and support for our population across the local authority areas of Swansea and Neath Port Talbot. Services are delivered across the Health Board footprint in the following areas:

  • Information, Advice & Guidance
  • Carers
  • Young Carers
  • Children & Young people Mental Health Support
  • Adult Mental Health Support Services
  • Learning Disability Support Services
  • Reablement Services
  • Service User Development & Support
  • Children with Disability Services
  • Stroke
  • Dementia
  • Substance Misuse Services
  • Bereavement
  • Community Resilience
  • LGBT Services
  • Sexual Health Services
  • Integrated Play

In line with its Strategic Framework for the Voluntary Sector 2017-2020 the Health Board is now seeking to commence a procurement exercise for all of its Third Sectors services.

They would like to invite Third Sector providers to a pre-procurement market engagement event to:

  • Understand the current market position and identify any challenges or barriers
  • Understand how future service needs can shaped and delivered by the Sector, including the identification of themes/Lots
