Swansea Council Logo 2017An opportunity for the third sector, to contribute to re-designing the services that communities need the most.

The project will look at how services in the community can be based in community areas as hubs. Five pilot areas have been chosen: Blaenymaes, Townhill/Mayhill, St Thomas/Bonymaen, Clydach & Gorseinon. What would your community hub look and feel like? What services could be provided? Who could provide them and who can they support?

This workshop is an opportunity for the public and third sectors, housing associations, community members and groups to think about how we will work together on the challenges Swansea faces now and in the future, such as climate change, poverty, health inequalities and jobs and growth.

  • How can we actively involve our community in designing, developing and taking forward this project?
  • What existing strengths do we have in our communities?
  • How can this project be co-produced?
  • What are the benefits of this project for our communities?
