Swansea Volunteer Manager Forum

Swansea Volunteer Manager Forum is a members network of volunteer managers which regularly meets to develop and share best practice.

Swansea Volunteer Manager Forum provides an opportunity to network, receive peer support, work in partnership and access volunteer management development assistance at bi-monthly meetings.

The forum is an unbiased independent group, led by its members and facilitated by SCVS.

We meet for 2 hours every 2 months to enable local volunteer managers to keep up with best practice.

Membership of Swansea Volunteer Manager Forum is free.

This workshop will focus on what it means to adopt a Human Rights Approach, and how we can adopt this approach in our work. It will also help us to understand how we can use a Human Rights Approach to lever change and hold public authorities to account for human rights.

Involve has a variety of schemes that engage people in need in Swansea. The Mental Health Development Service at SCVS facilitates joint working between voluntary organisations and statutory organisations. The service enables voluntary organisations to have their views taken into account when decisions are made regarding the planning and delivery of mental health services across the Swansea Bay University .
