Natural Resources Wales and Swansea Council are working in partnership with Green Infrastructure Consultancy to develop a Green Infrastructure Strategy and Green Space Factor tool for the city centre.

This work marks a move to improve the quality of the environment in the city centre and importantly from a greening perspective, it embraces the need for better green infrastructure within the city centre.

Join them for a seminar and workshop on Green Infrastructure (GI), the Green Space Factor tool and help them develop the Green Infrastructure Strategy for Swansea City Centre #CityNature.

The aim of this seminar is to give non Green Infrastructure professionals involved in development or businesses within Swansea City Centre:

  • A fresh look at the benefits and services provided by urban green infrastructure,
  • How urban greening could save costs in development,
  • Show how it could be a new approach in attracting investment,
  • Opportunity to learn about the Green Space Factor tool to meet obligations of the new sustainable urban drainage legislation,
  • Be Involved in creating the GI Strategy.
