This one day course is for managers, project co-ordinators and trustees who want to know more about how to develop and implement a theory of change. A theory of change can help you plan new projects, explain the purpose of your work to funders and beneficiaries and enhance your evaluation plans and practice. During the course you will explore what information you need to collect to evaluate the effectiveness of your work.

The course will enable you to develop a theory of change that fits your organisation.

Course Learning Objectives:

  • Understand theory of change and how it can be used for planning and evaluation.
  • Have increased knowledge of how to develop a theory of change.
  • Understand stakeholder expectations and how they influence the change process.
  • Understand how to measure and evaluate change/outcomes.
