Swansea and Neath Port Talbot Councils have commissioned RED3 to carry out a co-productive commissioning review of Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV). This will inform future commissioning of VAWDASV services across the region.

From mid-April to mid-May, organisations and individuals are taking part in surveys, interviews and workshops that will contribute to the design of services that meet the needs of adults, children and young people impacted by domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Can you help with these 2 surveys?

  • Survey 1 is for staff/volunteers in groups, services and organisations who are likely to come into contact with people experiencing or at high risk of VAWDASV. This is likely to include mental health, substance misuse and housing providers as well as services supporting children and young people (but not specialist VAWDASV services as they have been contacted separately).

This survey is open until 3rd May to allow time to follow up with more specific requests if needs be.

  • Survey 2 is for adults over 16 who have experienced VAWDASV, whether or not they have received specialist support for this. They’re really keen to ensure that the voices, feedback and ideas of survivors of VAWDASV are heard, including those who may face barriers to participation.

This survey is open until 17th May.
