We've had a great response so far, but we're keen to make sure as many young people as possible have a chance to share their views - so we've extended the deadline for responses to 30th June 2018.

Between the 1st February and the 30th June 2018 we will be undertaking a consultation into children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing services in Swansea. We hope as many people as possible will share their experience with us and contribute to shaping future services for 0 to 18 year olds and would very much appreciate your contribution.

The survey is being coordinated by the SCVS Mental Health Development Service.

The results of the survey will be important in informing how Swansea’s 3rd Sector plans and delivers mental health and wellbeing services for children and young people but will also prove valuable to Swansea Council, ABMU Health Board and Swansea’s five GP Clusters.

There are two surveys available – one which is aimed at Children, Young People, Parents and Carers, and one for Staff and Organisations providing services in Swansea.

Both surveys close for responses at 5pm, Saturday 30th June 2018. Read on for more information.

For Children, Young People, Parents and Carers:

If you are a child or young person who in the past two years have thought about, tried to get or had support for your mental health or emotional wellbeing then we would very much like to hear what your experience was. If you are a parent or carer who has supported a young person with their mental health we would love to hear from you also.

This could have been, for example; going to see their Doctor, someone in their School/College, a Swansea Council service, a project provided by a local charity or community group, CAMHS (Child Adolescent Mental Health Service), such as Trehafod, outpatients and or hospital service.

There are several ways people can have a voice:
