High 5 Awards logoThe High 5 Awards reward Swansea's most inspirational children and young people who deserve recognition for overcoming challenges, achievements and/or making life better for themselves or others.

The High 5 awards are open to any child, young person or group in three age ranges - under 13s, aged 14 to 19 or 20-25 year olds. They've also added a schools award this year which looks to recognise and reward larger school groups, even whole classes, years or teams.

Everyone nominated receives a certificate so High 5 is a chance to boost their confidence and make them feel special by showing them their efforts have not gone unnoticed and they are worthy of special praise.

If they go on to be chosen for one of the special awards they will be invited to a special ceremony and receive a prize designed around them which could for example help them continue their efforts.

It’s a great way to inspire other young people too.

All nominators need to do is click here and fill in a nomination form where they get the chance to explain why their choice of nominee should get a High 5, whatever the reason might be.

It's even more accessible to answer any query you have about High 5 this year with a new phone number set up.  If you have a query or would like to leave a voice nomination call 01792 635699 and leave a message.

The closing date is the 21st July 2017.
