Can you get together (virtually!) with other people from your community to think of an idea that would make your community a better place to live? You might want to litter pick a space outdoors that everyone can use and turn it into a place that people go to use as a community garden. You might want think of something that will stop people from feeling lonely at home.

The project covers the areas of Llwchwr, Cwmtawe and Penderi:

  • Llwchwr covers Gorseinon, Pontardulais, Mawr, Gowerton, Pentrheol, Pennllergaer, Kingsbridge, Loughor areas of Swansea
  • Cwmtawe covers Llansamlet, Birchgrove, Bonymaen, Clydach, Morriston areas of Swansea
  • Penderi includes Brynhyfryd, Manselton, Fforestfach, Blaenymaes, Penlan

And – Call out for panel members!

We’re also looking for people who live in the Cwmtawe, Llwchwr and Penderi areas to listen to pitches from people that want to deliver a project to improve their local community in some way.

Being part of the panel would involve a one off, early evening Zoom call. The panel will be expected to listen to the pitches, ask further questions if needed and then discuss with other panel members to select suitable causes.

The deadline if you’re interested in joining the panel is Monday 8th February 2021 – this is so we can get you up to speed before the grant applications are assessed.
