Regional Health, Social Care and Wellbeing Grant Schemes (Swansea and Neath Port Talbot) – Now Open Following agreement at the Regional Third Sector Health, Social Care and Wellbeing (HSCWB) Network meeting earlier this month, we are pleased to announce that the Regional HSCWB Grant Schemes are now open. There is an unallocated under-spend for 2019/20 and our priority is to ensure that the funds are fully used to ensure the greatest impact by the Third Sector. The closing date for applications is Monday 18th November (9am), with applicants informed of decisions in order to begin anytime from December. The focus of this grant scheme is to provide a more effective use of funds by connecting regional and local health and wellbeing priorities, increase the consistency and quality of services provided by the Third Sector and to deliver positive wellbeing outcomes for people in communities. Small grants of up to £10,000 per year for individual organisations or projects covering one Local Authority area or up to £15,000 for organisations working across the whole region. Anything above these amounts will be treated as large grants. Projects must be completed by 31st March 2021, with all funds spent by this date. Please note, the priority of this round is to allocate the underspend for the 2019-2020 financial year. It was agreed that an open round would be held alongside the offer to current grant-holders to request an extension to currently funded projects. In the case that the round is over-subscribed, waiting lists will be created for funds to be allocated as and when they become available. What types of costs can be supported?
