Continuing concerns in the face of the Covid pandemic has led us to decide to continue our training schedule for the spring of 2021 as online-only. Our new programme is now available...

Sessions will consider both those skills needed to face the current challenges, as well as those we routinely encounter. These are live, interactive sessions, with time for questions and discussion, rather than large scale ‘lecture’ type or pre-recorded courses.

Places are limited across all of these sessions and we ask that only 3 people from each organisation book a place to make sure as many groups as possible are able to benefit.

News on our All Wales Basic Safeguarding Awareness courses:

The All Wales Basic Safeguarding Awareness Course is currently being renewed by Social Care Wales to include the new Wales Safeguarding Procedures. Pending this review we hope to be able to deliver courses in the Spring. The new Wales Safeguarding Procedures can be downloaded in the form of an app on both Android and Apple. These are the national Wales Safeguarding Procedures. They detail the essential roles and responsibilities for practitioners to ensure that they safeguard children and adults who are at risk of abuse and neglect. More news to follow.
