Your help needed to #SNAPPINTOACTION SCVS, in partnership with Cwmtawe and Llwchwr GP Clusters in Swansea are launching an exciting new project in June to promote physical activity amongst 11-16 year olds, with a particular emphasis on importance of physical activity in relation to mental health and wellbeing. We want to highlight the importance of positive role models and use this as a way to inspire and motivate young people to take steps to improve their wellbeing, so in our run up to launch, we’d like to promote short video clips recorded by individuals that are involved in sport or physical activity. We’re asking individuals to record a short video talking about the importance of physical activity and the impact on their mental wellbeing. We’d also love to hear about the impact of the lockdown and how this has affected your physical activity. These videos will be shared on our social media channels to encourage young people to sign up and #SNAPPINTOACTION once the project launches on 1st June.
