Colleagues in SBUHB would like to ask your help to make sure your team, volunteers and clients know what happens if they are contacted by the Test. Trace. Protect. service, and especially that they answer their phone.

Test. Trace. Protect. is the official contact tracing service put in place to tackle the spread of coronavirus in Wales and the UK. We have been made aware that there may be some confusion over how the system operates, and that some people cannot be contacted as they aren’t answering their phones to an unknown number, or responding to emails or texts sent to them.

Test. Trace. Protect. will only use the following ways to contact an individual:

By phone – Calling from 02921 961133 – only this number is used by the service

By Text - +447775 106684 – official texts come from this number only

By email – either: [email protected] or [email protected]

No other methods are used by the NHS Trace, Test, Protect team.

Please help to increase the awareness of these contact methods with as many people as you can.

Test. Trace. Protect. can only work effectively if individuals answer when called by this number, or follow the steps in official texts / emails.

Please note: TTP will never ask for any financial information, bank details, or passwords. If in any doubt, do not provide the information - be vigilant for scam callers.

In addition to the information above, there are a number of guides you can download and share:
