“Learning through Volunteering” is a short film (5 minutes) made voluntarily by Alicia Hughes, a photojournalism degree student from University of  Wales Trinity St David’s.

Alicia filmed 4 volunteers from Swansea, whilst they shared their experiences of learning in preparation for, and during, their differing volunteering opportunities. The film shows how valuable volunteering is as a learning pathway, aims to encourage more people to consider volunteering, and was launched in Swansea Learning Festival April 2019.
