Advocacy Support Cymru (ASC) seek Trustees Advocacy Support Cymru (ASC) is a registered charity that specialises in the provision of professional, confidential and independent advocacy for those eligible in secondary care and community mental health settings. They are currently actively recruiting for Trustees to join their Board, and are looking for individuals who believe even those experiencing poor mental health should understand their rights and have their voice heard. ASC pays trustees reasonable travel expenses Trustees are required to attend five meetings a year at their head office in Cardiff, held during working hours, and normally around two hours long. Additionally, Trustees attend an annual away day generally held in September / October. ASC positively welcome and encourage applications from all people and particularly those who have experienced mental health issues.
