Location: Swansea or Newport, but flexibility to attend all operational sites and partner agency offices is essential Type: Full-time Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: £33,000 per annum Start: TBC Duration: Temporary, covering maternity leave, up to 12 months, in line with the return date of the substantive post holder The post holder will co-ordinate the Human Resources function for the Organisation and will provide advice, support and guidance to assist Managers to carry out their staffing responsibilities in support of business needs. The post holder will be responsible for coaching managers and employees on all relevant HR policies and procedures. The post holder will also be responsible for managing all Employment Relations case work in a timely, accurate and compliant manner, leading on investigations when required and providing sound advice to managers in line with current policies and procedures and prevailing employment legislation. The post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure clear and consistent practices throughout the Organisation. To post holder will also be responsible for managing the sickness absence and disciplinary processes, in line with the organisation’s Attendance Improvement programme and disciplinary policies. The post holder will work closely with the HR Assistant and Finance Assistant, coordinating and submitting all payroll changes during the period and in line with the agreed SLAs. The post holder will work closely with the HR Assistant, coordinating the recruitment and selection process from start to finish, supporting managers in identifying upcoming recruitment needs in a proactive fashion and in line with agreed SLAs.
