Citizens Advice work with a diverse range of clients and you will need to be able to work under pressure whilst dealing confidently and sensitively with client groups.

Debt specialist caseworker

Hours:  Full time 37hrs preferred

Salary range: £25,918 - £27,503 depending on experience (rates are currently under review)

Contract: Permanent position which is subject to funding arrangements.

Location: Swansea office and outreach locations throughout Swansea and Neath Port Talbot. 

Hybrid working: this will be considered as part of the job and you will be provided with equipment to carry out your role.

The Cost of Living crisis means that, after paying for essentials, the average person Citizens Advice help with debt advice on Universal Credit is now £34 in the red each month.

Citizens Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot needs someone with expertise in debt advice who can work with vulnerable people. Full mentoring and support will be provided as part of the role.


Trainee debt caseworker 

    Hours:  Full time 37hrs preferred

    Are you someone who is currently well versed in  advising people or someone fully trained to give advice and looking for a new opportunity?  Do you want to train to be a Debt Specialist?

    Citizens Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot needs someone who wants to develop their expertise in debt advice. Full training, mentoring and support will be provided to reach these goals.
