Citizen’s Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot aspire to have a diverse Trustee board that reflects the communities they work in, and they are looking for people from all backgrounds and with a wide variety of skills and experience to become involved in leading the charity.

If you are keen to help them develop to meet the ever changing needs of communities and to contribute to securing the vital resources needed to make a difference to people’s lives, they would love to hear from you!

What can you offer?

They are looking for Trustees who can contribute to:

  • Setting, reviewing and monitoring their vision and strategic priorities;
  • Contributing as a team player;
  • Developing their equality and diversity – in policy and practice
  • They are particularly interested in hearing from people with the following skills/experience:
  • Legal knowledge, Property Management, Human Relations, Change Management, Business Development and Technology Development.

And it would be great if you could also bring:

  • Experience of working in the Third Sector in a paid or volunteer capacity;
  • An ability to develop and lead their strategic direction on income stream generation;
  • A keen interest in developing into a leadership role (they are looking for a new Chair and Vice Chair this year)

You do not need previous experience of working or volunteering with Citizen’s Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot, but you will need to be available for 4/5 evening meetings a year plus other events such as training or strategic planning days and for their Annual General Meeting.
