Caer Las operates St. Matthews Court Supported Living Scheme in partnership with Grwp Gwalia cyf, Family Housing Association (Wales) and the City and County of Swansea. The scheme provides accommodation and support to men and woman over the age of 45 who have experienced homelessness and have issues relating to substance misuse and alcohol, and who will need a degree of support in order to live independently.

The post holder will provide effective leadership in delivering accommodation support services in line with commissioner expectations and the relevant Regional project plan and ensures that the service operates in a way that is in line with Caer Las aims and values and Solution Focussed principles. In addition, this role requires the post holder to maximise the impact of the services provided at the project through excellent relationship management with local authority departments and partner agencies - statutory and voluntary

It is essential to have a good understanding of Health and Safety legislation in relation to premises and staff working within team settings and a good knowledge of dealing with vulnerable adults with a history of alcohol and substance misuse and presenting complex needs.
