They are a nonprofit registered social landlord (RSL) based in Swansea. Caredig were established in 1975 to meet the housing needs of families, older and more vulnerable people. Community Housing Officer Salary: £28,990 per annum Location: Swansea Generous benefits package Fixed term contract for 12 months (May possibly extend) Full time - 35 hours a week A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a positive, person- centred individual to join us in the role of Community Housing Officer in the Housing Department working in the Swansea & Neath area. The role involves a wide range of duties from leading on allocations of Caredig’s homes to being the investigating officer responsible for tackling anti-social behaviour. A key aspect of the role is to encourage independence to allow residents to sustain their own tenancies and support those residents who are at risk of losing their homes. You will work collaboratively with your patch team, other departments, residents and our partners in a positive and proactive manner.
