Environment Centre logoThe Environment Centre is at the forefront of collective action in Swansea. The role of Trustee is interesting and rewarding and their work has never been more urgent. It’s a fantastic time to join The Environment Centre Board ensuring that the charity is fully focused on the biggest challenges we face.

Are you interested in doing something to help the environment?

To raise awareness of the issues and support action to improve it?

The Environment Centre Board members are able to utilise their skills to make a real difference to the environment. They work closely with staff and local groups in Swansea to raise awareness of the issues and support action to improve it.

What are they looking for?

They are actively seeking people with experience of youth engagement, safeguarding, volunteering, fundraising and business planning.

They understand the huge range of skills that people have to offer and how different experiences can benefit us, and are committed to supporting you in a welcoming and encouraging environment. They are keen to represent the amazing diversity of Swansea on their Board.

The Environment Centre is striving to improve the balance of representation on the Board and welcome applications from people from black, Asian and minority ethnic communities and people across all age ranges.

They want to actively involve younger generations to develop and deliver their services.

The Environment Centre is a growing charity, who are adding more and more environmental projects, events and outreach to their portfolio, and they are looking for Trustees with the same level of ambition to help them grow.

If you are committed, if you work positively and collaboratively when faced with challenges, and if you share in our passion for environmental issues, then please apply to join The Environment Centre Board as a Trustee.
