  • Part-time post (28 hours per week)
  • Based on £28,700 per annum pro rata FTE
  • Initially an 18-month contract which could be extended if sufficient funding is secured

For 25 years, The Environment Centre has been a well-used and valued community hub for environmental activity in the Swansea Bay region. It provides a range of services that support other organisations and empower local people to adopt more sustainable lifestyles. These include events and workshops, office and meeting space, a green shop, volunteering opportunities and community engagement projects.

The Centre’s Trustees are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and well-organised professional to drive the Centre forward and secure its future funding, whilst providing leadership and day-to-day management support for staff, services and projects.

This post would suit someone with experience of project management, staff leadership and fundraising, within a context of community engagement and partnership working. They are seeking a hard-working individual who has great organisational and communication skills and a passion for sustainability and the environment.
