Community Ownership Fund – information and Q&A session The Community Ownership Fund is a £150 million fund to support community groups in the UK to take ownership of assets which are at risk of being lost. 2-3pm, Monday 26th July 2021 (online) Under the fund, community groups will be able to bid for matched capital grants of up to £250,000 to help them to buy local assets to run as community-owned businesses. In exceptional cases, up to £1million matched capital grants will be available for some sporting facilities. The deadline for applications for this bidding round is 13th August 2021. A second round will open in December 2021 and a third in May 2022.
