Dr Ben Reynolds, Founder and Director of Urban Foundry, will be running an online session on The Theory of Change for WGRP Social Value Forum members on Tuesday 29th June 2021.

Articulating and measuring social impact with Theory of Change

This workshop will help you to design a process to measure the social impact you make, regardless of your size and resource base.

The workshop helps you to understand and develop outcomes-focused approaches, which are increasingly favoured by funding organisations, but are also important for your own organisational development – any organisation seeking to achieve social impact should be seeking to develop an outcomes-focused approach, regardless of their size and resources.

Following the workshop you will have:

  • developed a better understanding of Theory of Change as an outcomes-focused approach;
  • developed a better understanding of social impact measurement principles and how that can work for you;
  • better understand assumptions and constraints associated with the process;
  • gained an understanding of some of the different methods of measuring social impact, including measuring so-called ‘soft’ outcomes; and
  • considered how you might develop a plan for implementing the approach in your own organisation.

Via Zoom, 10am – 12.30pm, Tuesday 29th June 2021
