EYST LogoThe BAME Multi-lingual Helpline Wales is a partnership project between EYST Wales, Women Connect First, ProMo Cymru and Citizens Advice Cymru.

After a successful Pilot Phase, they are delighted to have been awarded funding for another 2 years by the National Lottery Community Fund through their Supporting Great Ideas programme.

Multi-lingual Helpline Call Handlers x 2

Location: Home based

Hours: 25 hours per week

Salary: £15,714 per annum (£22,000 pro rata - 0.71 FTE)

Term: 1 post is fixed term until the end of the project on 30th June 2023 / 1 post is fixed term until 30th Nov 2021 in the first instance, but may be extended.

The Helpline aims to provide an accessible and multi-lingual first port of call for people from minority ethnic backgrounds looking for help with a range of issues. The Helpline team will then refer and signpost the client on to a range of mainstream and community organisations for specialist advice and support.
