Race & Housing Case worker

Hours: 35 hours a week
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Fixed Term Contract until 30th June 2026
Location:  Swansea (Travel across South Wales will be required for this role)

EYST are recruiting a Race & Housing Case worker to work in Swansea as part of their “Race and Housing in Wales - a Fresh Perspective Project”. The project is funded by the Oak Foundation to investigate the issues and challenges of Race and Housing inequalities in Wales. 

Aims of the Post are:

to establish a housing advice service, which specialises in directly supporting people from communities impacted by racial injustice in Wales to access their housing rights.

to support the Policy Officer, consolidate partnerships between the Ethnic Minorities and Youth Support Team and the housing sector in Wales.

to support the production up-to-date evidence about the extent of housing inequality for communities impacted by racial injustice in Wales.

An Enhanced DBS will be required for this role.
