Swansea Community Farm is the only city Farm in Wales, and is focussed on improving wellbeing by reconnecting people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities with their food, their environment and each other.

Swansea Community Farm are recruiting for the two roles below for their volunteer projects.

Both roles will be working in a fast paced environment supporting volunteers' wellbeing and developing opportunities for their learning and training. 

Adult Wellbeing Officer

Salary: £21, 699 (30 hours) – £26, 762 (37 hours)

Hours: 30 - 37 hours per week

This post is a fixed term post until March 2025, with possible extension subject to performance and the candidate helping to secure further funding.

Swansea Community Farm are looking for an Adult Wellbeing Officer to lead and develop their adult (16+) volunteer programmes.

This role involves management of volunteer opportunities at the Farm, including the delivery and development of the Regional Integration Fund Farming for Wellbeing project. This includes recruitment, support and management of new volunteers and existing volunteers and support staff. 

Youth Volunteer Wellbeing Worker

Salary: £14, 839 – 16, 274 per year, dependent on experience (equivalent to £24,402 – £26,762 full time)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (with the possibility of additional hours dependent on candidate)

This post is fixed term until 31st March 2025

This post is subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS check before starting the post.

Swansea Community Farm are looking for a Youth Volunteer Wellbeing Worker who will work with under-25s on their adult and Child & Youth projects.

The role involves supporting delivery of activities designed to improve wellbeing through practical engagement in the life of a city farm through volunteering, training and educational opportunities.
