Festival Welfare Services logoFestival Welfare Services (FWS) is a national registered charity (charity number: 277251) which works with a bank of over 350 experienced professional volunteers to carry out a range of welfare related support services at events across the UK. 

Their primary aim is to provide support services to festival goers in the form of a safe space for people to access advice, comfort, rest, recuperation and products to assist them to enjoy their festival experience while staying safe.

They provide all these services in a non-judgemental, non-discriminatory way. They also advise event organisers on appropriate means of delivering a safe, enjoyable experience for their guests.

They seek Trustees to join their board and be responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity, developing the charity’s aims, objectives and goals in accordance with the governing document, legal and regulatory guidelines. 

Hours: To attend board meetings, regular trustee meetings and any other platform deemed appropriate by the charity.
