The Swansea Mental Health Forum is an umbrella group of voluntary mental health organisations working in the City and County of Swansea which aims to establish and increase dialogue between organisations that support people with and/or have an interest in mental health and wellbeing.

Membership is open to third sector organisations, projects and groups, which promote mental health and wellbeing and/or provide services for people with mental health problems and their carers.

The aims of the Mental Health Forum are:

  • To be a focal point for third sector organisations who work with individuals experiencing mental health problems and/or have an interest in mental health
  • To act as a force for change in services provided for people with mental health problems, and their carers.
  • To promote high standards of service provision and good practice in mental health.

Membership is open to third sector organisations, projects and groups, which promote mental health and wellbeing and/or provide services for people with mental health problems and their carers. Non third sector organisations who have an interest in supporting mental health and wellbeing can also become members by application to the Forum via the Mental Health Development Officer.
