Mission Gallery is one of the most inspiring spaces in Wales for the contemporary arts. A unique, architecturally beautiful space, the building is a rich resource for the local and wider community providing artists at all levels and experience, opportunities to display and make work while developing our audiences enjoyment, understanding and knowledge of art.

They are looking for a person with energy, experience and commitment to lead and develop the organisation and its over-arching vision – artistic and organisational. They will be well networked locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, maintaining Mission Gallery’s ambition, profile and collaborations with our cultural and educational partners. They will be a creative and strategic thinker, with good people management, effective communication and leadership skills, plus confidence and a natural flair for Business, Finance and Governance.

Supported by the board, the successful candidate will possess the knowledge and expertise to build on Mission Gallery’s reputation and success, developing a range of new and exciting initiatives. They will nurture an environment that enables artists to thrive and grows diverse audiences, whilst ensuring on-going sustainability and evolution for the organisation.

Dymuna Fwrdd Oriel Mission benodi Cyfarwyddwr i arwain y sefydliad tra bydd y Cyfarwyddwr presennol yn dilyn cynllun sabothol am 12 mis.

Rydym yn chwilio am unigolyn sydd ag egni, profiad ac ymrwymiad i arwain a datblygu’r sefydliad a’i weledigaeth trosfwaol – artistig a chyfundrefnol. Bydd ganddynt gysylltiadau lleol, rhanbarthol, cenedlaethol a rhyngwladol da, gan gynnal uchelgais, proffil a chydweithrediadau Oriel Mission gyda’n partneriaid diwylliannol ac addysgol. Byddant yn gallu meddwl yn greadigol a strategol, â sgiliau rheoli pobl da, sgiliau cyfathrebu ac arwain effeithiol, yn ogystal â hyder a dawn naturiol am Fusnes, Cyllid a Llywodraethu.

Gyda chefnogaeth y Bwrdd, bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn meddu ar yr wybodaeth a’r arbenigedd i adeiladu ar enw da a llwyddiant Oriel Mission, gan ddatblygu ystod o fentrau newydd a chyffrous. Byddant yn meithrin amgylchedd sy’n galluogi artistiaid i ffynnu a sy'n meithrin cynulleidfaoedd amrywiol, gan sicrhau cynaliadwyedd ac esblygiad parhaus y sefydliad.
