Swansea Council Logo 2017Have your say in the new 'Future Swansea: Shaping the Future of our City' plan - which will serve as a five-year vision for the city centre's economic regeneration.

Swansea council have commissioned the creation of a placemaking plan to provide an updated analysis of the city centre and set out the vision for the city in the future.

The plan will propose required interventions to capitalise on the city's strengths, address its weaknesses and set out an action plan focusing on deliverable short- and medium-term priorities.

It will update and replace the existing Swansea Central Area Regeneration Framework that was put in place in 2016.

Your feedback can help shape the placemaking plan, which will be an informative document for the new local development plan (LDP) and will be used to protect the city centre from inappropriate development and also provide a clear guide to investment decisions, as well as encouraging further private sector involvement in the city centre's regeneration in the future.
