Agored Cymru Level 3 Award in Community Development    QCF code: 600/3307/1

This Community Development qualification is accredited by Agored Cymru. The course is designed to provide learners with a sound knowledge of community development values and processes, understanding of skills for group work and awareness of diversity, inequality and injustice issues.  Achieving the qualification involves completing 3-6 written assignments and attending 9 days of training, over the course of a year.  You can contact SCVS Training Services for more information.

Social Care Induction Wales: Induction to Safeguarding in Social Care in Wales

This Level 2 Agored course looks at knowing how to recognise different types of harm, abuse and neglect; understand how individuals are protected from these; and your role in relation to safeguarding adults and children and young people.

Periodically, we also offer "Learning to Lead" from ILM – Institute of Leadership and Management accredited course

This three day comprehensive leadership development programme has been designed for staff, volunteers and board members wishing to develop their management skills, knowledge and confidence. The course is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management and involves completing two pieces of coursework.  The course fee includes all costs for registration with ILM and assessment of coursework, as well as a comprehensive Management Toolkit.
