SBUHB Strategic Framework Project Officer

  • Accountable to: Health Social Care and Wellbeing Coordinator
  • Location: SCVS office
  • Hours:  14 per week, funded until 31st March 2020  
  • Salary: SCP 23 £26,999 PA, pro-rata

The post will provide support to the HSCW Coordinator in relation to the implementation of the Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB) Voluntary Sector Strategic Framework, and in particular the Service Delivery and Transformation theme; assist voluntary organisations to access development support; and provide regular monitoring reports to the Health Board as part of the monitoring and evaluation process.

The Voluntary Sector Strategic Framework outlines how the Health Board will continue to strengthen its relationship with the voluntary sector in all that it does.

Co-Production Development Officer West Glamorgan RPB

  • Accountable to: Health Social Care and Wellbeing Coordinator 
  • Location: Swansea CVS, covering City and County of Swansea/West Glamorgan RPB area
  • Hours:  10.5 per week, funded until 31st March 2021
  • Salary: SCP 21 £25,801 PA, pro-rata

The Co Production Development Officer Post aims to build the capacity of citizens to engage in the planning, design and delivery of Regional Partnership Board initiative. The aim of the project is to support the development of co-productive approaches across the West Glamorgan RPB area to enable citizens to support themselves, and build citizen, service user and carer resilience to undertake co-productive approaches.

Our Neighbourhood Development Officer - Llwchwr

  • Accountable to: Health Social Care and Wellbeing Coordinator 
  • Location: Swansea CVS, covering the Llwchwr GP Cluster Network area
  • Hours:  35 per week, funded in the first instance for 1 year from start date
  • Salary: SCP 23 £26,999 PA

Using ‘asset-based’ principles but not following a particular asset or community development model, the project will identify strengths and resources in communities through asset mapping and the involvement of citizens in change efforts. The project will be place based within the Llwchwr GP Cluster network area.

The post-holder will recruit local volunteers to undertake an ‘asset map’ of the area; working from the grassroots to develop trust and relationships with local people which enable their own organising of community activities and collective action, increasing self-belief, to move from being passive recipients of external help to decision makers in own lives and positive change makers in their community. You will also develop community profiles that can provide vital information to statutory and other agencies that help to shape services based on local community strengths and needs.

  • Accountable to: Health Social Care and Wellbeing Coordinator 
  • Location: Swansea CVS, covering the Cwmtawe GP Cluster Network area
  • Hours: 2.5 days (17.5 hours) per week, funded in the first instance for 1 year from start date
  • Salary: SCP 23 £26,999 PA, pro-rata
